Ross Hicks is a Cardiff based Jazz pianist and graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, studying under the likes of Huw Warren, Iain Ballamy and Alex Merritt to name just a few, and opened for Liam Noble with his trio when he came for a masterclass and performance. Since then Ross has been involved in the Welsh and South West music scene playing with a host of different artists, notable collaborations include a mini tour with Simon Spillett and Alex Goodyear Quartet, Alan Barnes, Alex Merritt.

As a freelance session musician he’s played with numerous bands spanning many genres in and around South Wales and appears on many other artists projects as a sideman.
